The downstairs area consists of living, bedroom, kitchen areas and bathroom facilities.The DS3 is constructed on a 4 concrete block high nib wall, which dramatically increases the useable space inside the dwelling. It creates a high cathedral type ceiling above the main living area. It also creates a sizeable loft area above the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom areas that can be used for sleeping and storage. The construction of the loft also increases the strength of the dwelling.
The inside height of the dwelling on the concrete nib wall is 3.9m high.
